OneStepTooMuch is a minimalist game where every step involves a choice. Keep going to collect more points, or secure what you’ve already earned. The farther you go, the greater the risk.
A round only takes a few seconds. But the question is always the same: Should you stop now — or take one more step?
Play smart. Dare more. Secure the points.
You move across a three-dimensional game board where each new tile can give points, bonuses, or unexpected events. At the same time, the risk increases with every step.
- Collect points – each new tile gives points, and the value increases with every step.
- Use bonuses – find stars that give extra points and x2 tiles that double the points for a step.
- Watch the warnings – yellow tiles blink before they become dangerous.
- Secure your progress – use Bank Score to add the round’s points to your total.
- Learn to read the board – plan your path ahead and decide when the risk becomes too great.
If you hit a red tile, you lose the points you haven’t secured yet. Your previously saved points remain.
Easy to start. Hard to stop.
OneStepTooMuch combines simple controls with strategic decisions. Swipe or tap an adjacent tile to move your character. Then it’s up to you to decide how far you dare to go.
The boards change between rounds. You’ll encounter, among other things, regular grids, corridors, intersections, holes, and winding paths.
