Languages follow your WordPress site language under Settings → General. English is used when no translation is available.
The free plugin on WordPress.org does not include license activation (WordPress.org policy). maca DownList Pro is a separate download — use the button below, install it, then activate your SF-PRO- key.

How to activate after purchase
- Download and install maca DownList Pro with the download button above (Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin). If you already use the free WordPress.org version, deactivate and remove it first — your lists and files stay in the database.
- Accept maca DownList → Terms and privacy (required for Pro).
- Go to maca DownList → Settings → License.
- Paste your
SF-PRO-key and click Activate license. - Pro features unlock immediately.
FAQ
Can I activate Pro on the free WordPress.org plugin?
No. WordPress.org does not allow paid license activation in the directory package. Download maca DownList Pro with the button on this page after purchase.
Does it work with my existing Free install?
Yes. Deactivate and remove the WordPress.org plugin, install maca DownList Pro, and activate your key. All lists and files in the database are kept.
How many sites does one license cover?
One key per WordPress installation (domain + install).
What if I already have a comp key (SF-COMP-)?
It still works as before. Stripe Pro is for paying customers.
Do I get a receipt?
Yes. Stripe emails a receipt to the address you enter at checkout.
Can I pay in EUR or USD?
Yes. Checkout can show your local currency (Adaptive Pricing). Your license is the same — one SF-PRO- key per site.
Which languages are included?
English, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian (Bokmål), Finnish, German, French, and Spanish — in wp-admin and on the front end. Set your site language under Settings → General in WordPress.
Email gate and GDPR?
Pro lets you require visitor email and CAPTCHA before download. Leads are stored in the download log on your server. You are the data controller for visitors — terms and privacy policy are under maca DownList → Terms and privacy in wp-admin.
