Before you contact us
- Update maca Restu Pro to the latest version.
- Do not run the free and Pro plugins together — deactivate free maca Restu first.
- Go to Settings → Permalinks → Save if QR or booking URLs return 404.
- Read maca Restu → Guide in WordPress admin.
- For payments: maca Restu → Payments → Setup guide.
Installation & license
How do I activate the Pro license?
Buy an annual license at maca.se/restu-pro/.
You receive an ML-PRO-… key by email. On the restaurant site:
maca Restu → Subscription → paste key → Activate.
One license — one website?
Yes. One key normally applies to one WordPress installation. Contact us for staging + production.
Do PDF/QR features work without a license?
Yes. Core PDF/image menus, scheduling, QR, and shortcodes work without Pro. Dish menu, ordering, and booking require an active license.
QR menu & permalinks
Where is the QR link?
maca Restu → Settings — QR URL and print. Default slug is often /qrmeny/.
404 on /qrmeny/
Save Settings → Permalinks in WordPress. Check for slug conflicts with themes or other plugins.
Languages & guest texts
Mixed languages on the menu
Turn off Dual-language menus and enable the Language switcher
under Settings → Menu & language. Site language is set under Settings → General.
Custom button labels
Settings → Guest UI texts — override local and English strings. Dish names are edited under Dishes / menu footer fields.
Table ordering & payments
Stripe / Swish for guests
maca Restu → Payments — follow the setup guide.
License payments to maca.se and guest payments to your restaurant use separate Stripe accounts.
Common issues
503 or blank QR page (non-English site)
Update to plugin 1.4.4+. Clear hosting/CDN cache. Check debug.log if needed.
PHP warning about $file_code
Update to 1.4.5+.
